MBE Refresher Course

The MBE Refresher Course features a comprehensive DVD lecture series on the “Big Six” Multistate Bar Examination topics – Constitutional Law, Contracts, Criminal Law & Procedure, Evidence, Property, and Torts These in-depth lectures, presented by some of the most well-respected names in legal education, will cover all of the frequently-tested areas of law on the Bar Exam. Accompanying PowerPoints provide definitions, memory cues, and numerous examples for better understanding of content. The DVD format allows you to watch and re-watch lectures on your own schedule as necessary until you have complete understanding of the each MBE subject.

Experienced Bar Exam tutors will be available to answer specific content area questions.

The MBE Refresher is complimented by the Intensive MBE Workshop, but may also serve as either a stand-alone to MBE Bar Review study, or taken in conjunction with other state-specific Bar Review courses.

Intensive MBE Workshop

The Intensive MBE Workshop begins with a 200-question simulated MBE. Experienced tutors will then provide analysis of each question’s answer choices grouped by MBE subject. Following the simulated exam on Day 1, the analysis of the questions for three MBE subjects will be covered each subsequent day of the 3-day course. Tutors will be available for additional questions or problems following each day’s lecture.

The Intensive MBE Workshop serves as final Bar Exam preparation for anyone who has previously opted for home study, taken the MBE Refresher Course, or taken any comprehensive Bar Review lecture program.

What you’ll get with the Intensive MBE Workshop:

• A complete 200-question simulated MBE, as well as an answer book which thoroughly explains the correct and incorrect answers to each question.
• 2 books of additional examples illustrating how black letter law is tested, following the same format and structure as your MBE books.
• Tutors who will break down the simulated exam by specific subtopic and trend, highlighting some of the tricks and traps on the Bar Exam and help you form a "mental map" of each subject.
• A short “Emanuel Confidential” mini-outline, which can serve as your final review up until the last minutes before the Bar Exam.
